Winnipeg, Manitoba
This date is my wrap up day for Winnipeg. It has been good and blissful. Not only was there an inauguration of a new temple/ashram for us here in central Canada, but on the same weekend, devotees in the Maritimes on the far east coast, witnessed the opening of their place of meditation and worship. What a victory that is over the world of maya, illusion.

Everyone took such good care of me in this Prairie city. I was happy to see a great participation from the youth here. Meanwhile, it was heartwarming to spend time with an old friend such as Daruka, my support person from the last walk in Canada, and Carolin, also a local Winnipeg person, who is an expert baker. Carolin has this gift of making breads from ancient recipes like the ones Egyptians used to enjoy.

I actually surprised Daruka when I led him to a section of a private walking trail he did not know about, because it is practically in his backyard.

I also have to thank Vishvambhar, who is the fearless leader for Krishna consciousness in this city, the central hub or heartbeat of the continent. Yes, you can check it out. From Canada's far north to the southern tip of Mexico, Winnipeg takes central stage. That is what makes it special.
I entered Richardson Airport, one of the best in North America, for a flight back to The Six (Drake, the rapper, gave Toronto that name), and chanted some Hare Krishnas on this plane back while also reflecting on the good visit.
