Brampton/Toronto
As you may have noticed more recently, I deliver my daily walking report in steps that I count from my cell phone pedometer. It motivates me to just push it a little more. I discovered that even some snow shovelling with the pedometer in pocket racks up the number. So, Uddhava and I decided that like the other day, a layer of soft slushy snow must go, and at the same time I can put on a bit more of the kilometres/miles.
But first, on our way out towards Yorkville, a slowed-down episode for our local production team for Instagram reels demanded some moments during a walk in the dark. As usual, the less than 30 second part goof/part spoof production has something to say about self-transformation. It will be available soon.
Now, back on the concrete and granite turf, we both love the freshness of winter, however mild to wild. I will be parting for India tomorrow, and I simply wanted to breathe in some of that awakening feeling before hitting dampness in Amsterdam, a stopover.

The trails are slippery, but even a slip counts as a step. Since paying attention to my pacing, I can say proudly that I haven’t once found myself slipping and tripping on icy conditions for this entire winter. Of course, the season is not yet over. In India I doubt that any sliding will take place, unless by accident my feet hit some cow dung.
It’s possible, you know.
