Jack Boken is the CEO of Happy Jack Yoga, established in Ontario. He is finishing up his degree in Harvard Divinity School, is a wonderful human being, and a practitioner of bhakti yoga, as well as a host of other genres of yoga.
Jack was kind to invite me into his broadcast this morning as a guest speaker where a series of speakers present their specialization in their brand of spiritualization. I have a number of areas that I dabble in when it comes to the spirit, but of interest to the public is the pilgrimage power walking I’ve done. My topic, “Tales from Trails” spanned the globe with a more specific audience.
When Jack initially contacted me, he asked that it be informative but “to have fun” with the presentation. That we did, as Jack himself became the interviewer. There were no glitches with my sometimes-jinxed technology endeavours. That was good.
I also hooked up with our South Africa team on Zoom for our Gita Chat that occurs every Wednesday at 1 pm ET. I was physically/psychologically bound by the phone for hours. A tiny relief came at 7 PM when Vidura Mukunda, a trained massage therapist, did a two-hour relieving number on me. He was very generous with his time in working on my walking legs and also addressing my varicose veins. My mother had an issue with that problem, a problem I hope to lick in a matter of time. Thanks to the help of Vidura, I may be able to conquer this challenge, which is one of many.
