Ottawa/ Toronto
After a great rest at the home of Shreyas, I opened the shutters to the window and saw the sun's rays drawn in. Usually I'm up and around by this time of day-up before sign of Surya, the sun god, but we played hard in Ottawa, singing and then swimming. Hamm! Maybe I should do more of this if it guarantees an attack on insomnia.
Mahadeva and Annapurna picked me up headed west but before we hit the infamous 401 Highway, we encountered some mechanic difficulty in the exhaust area. Mahadeva always keeps his cool, demonstrating the quality of maturity, in addition to being not a bad mechanic.
We' re on the road again!
Now to Gananoque, the place of a thousand Islands to be the owners and runners of the Inn. More families come to hear a few words of truth, such as "humans have advantages and disadvantages." "The advantage most prominent is our ability to common sense our way through life. Let the pragmatical world and the spiritual world run parallel. That would be success."
We had brunch and the pizza was garnered with the garden herbs, fresh from the direct outside.
Toronto was reached. I rushed to drama practice, then the Tuesday Gita zoom class and finally I took my feet-hankering walk down Bloor St. I met Thakur Haridas, my dear Godbrother. He is wonderfully extra-verted. The final gesture of kindness came from Vallabha Hari who joined Uday and I on the last leg. Khyati, his good wife, whipped up a refreshing blue-berries juice, offered it to Krishna, then to our lips.
