CONSIDER THE TERMS

Monday, September 11th, 2023

Burnaby, British Columbia

Everyone remembers 9.11, that fateful day of the twin towers in New York coming down. That will be etched in our memories for a long time. It was an event that more or less worked an era, of a new milenia that would be wrought with confusion and conflict. I believe that unless one adopts the mindset of what is outlined in the Gita, for instance, cultivating divine qualities (Chapter 16), clear thinking cannot take root. May the world become blessed with the chance to look at that choice of goodness versus demonic forces and make the right decision.

We all have to make decisions in our life, major and minor. Making that right choice should be based on long term vision. We simply need to ask ourself before committing to something. "Will this decision I'm taking bring about long term benefit or immediate benefit?"

THE PLACE OF MY THOUGHTS ON 9/11 2023.

If we have real vision we will consider long term benefits over instant stimulations. Intelligent action should dominate our lives and the spurts of sense enjoyment. It takes discipline to reach higher goals. Educated action is always superior to entertainment implications.

Let us shoot for enlightenment. And while stimulation is important, natural, and necessary let it take second place.
